A Tourist walked into a Chinese curio shop in San Francisco. While looking around at the exotic merchandise, he noticed a very lifelike, life-sized, bronze statue of a rat. It had no price tag, but was so incredibly striking the tourist decided he must have it. He took it to the old shop owner and asked, "How much for the bronze rat ?

"Ahhh, you have chosen wisely! It is $12 for the rat and $100 for the story," said the wise old Chinaman. The tourist quickly pulled out twelve dollars. "I'll just take the rat, you can keep the story".

As he walked down the street carrying his bronze rat, the tourist noticed that a few real rats had crawled out of the alleys and sewers and had begun following him down the street. This was a bit disconcerting so he began walking faster.

A couple blocks later he looked behind him and saw to his horror the herd of rats behind him had grown to hundreds, and they began squealing.

Sweating now, the tourist began to trot toward San Francisco Bay. Again, after a couple blocks, he looked around only to discover that the rats now numbered in the MILLIONS, and were squealing and coming toward him faster and faster. Terrified, he ran to the edge of the Bay and threw the bronze rat as far as he could into the Bay.

Amazingly, the millions of rats all jumped into the Bay after the bronze rat and were all drowned.

The man walked back to the curio shop in Chinatown."Ahhh," said the owner, "You come back for story?""

In their infinite wisdom, the United States' Founders created the Electoral College to ensure the STATES were fairly represented. Why should one or two densely populated areas speak for the whole of the nation? The following list of statistics has been making the rounds on the Internet. It should finally put an end to the argument as to why the Electoral College makes sense. These numbers are astonishing. Do share this. It needs to be widely known and understood.

There are 3,141 counties in the United States. Trump won 3,084 of them. Clinton won 57.

There are 62 counties in New York State. Trump won 46 of them. Clinton won 16 .

Clinton won the popular vote by approx 1.5 million votes. In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond) Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.

These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles. The United States is comprised of 3,797,000 square miles.

When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.

Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.) DO NOT and SHOULD NOT speak for the rest of our country!

I hope you are as reassured as I am by the results of a scientific poll we commissioned early this week.

CARAVANS FROM CENTRAL AMERICA?

One week before Election Day, the likely voters in the "Toss Up" congressional districts who will decide which Party will control the U.S. House of Representatives had these views:

* Only 12% want to see a continuation of the long-time catch-and-release policy of letting people who claim asylum at the border move freely around the country until their asylum hearing at some future time.

*  65% want all caravans stopped before they reach the U.S. border. (The 65% are divided into two groups: 25% would allow people to cross into the U.S. only after they have been approved to do so through an asylum hearing in Mexico; 40% would send them all back to home countries or "safe countries" in between to apply for asylum there.)

* 18% would let the caravans cross the border but would detain them until they have made it through asylum hearings.

* Only 4% of the likely voters had no opinion on this explosive issue.

Unlike most media reports of polls, we publicize the exact question voters were asked: (QUESTION) As you know, a caravan of several thousand Central Amerians is moving toward our southern border to apply for asylum in the United States. Should the U.S. government stop all of them from entering the country, or require them to remain in Mexico until their asylum applications have been decided, or let them enter the United States but detain them until their asylum applications have been decided, or allow them to move freely around the country until their asylum hearing at some future time?

ABOUT THE POLL

I'll give you more results, but first I want you to know more about the poll so you can evaluate the results on your own. With all the sensational media campaign coverage of immigration issues this month, I wondered if significant blocs of voters might have been moved away from what previous polling has always shown as the majority less-immigration views of the past. I was most interested in the congressional districts that the non-partisan Real Clear Politics says are "Toss Up" races. That is, the analysts consider these not only too close to predict but not even leaning toward one candidate or the other.  The poll was of a representative sample of 1,000 likely voters in the 31 districts that Real Clear Politics identified as Toss Up as of last Friday (Oct. 26). The margin of sampling error was +/- 3%, with a 95% level of confidence, which is a standard goal. They are in 19 states. The states with more than one Toss Up are California (5), Florida (3), Michigan (2), New Jersey (2), New York (2), Texas (2) and Virginia (2). We commissioned Pulse Opinion Research, which is an independent public opinion research firm using automated polling methodology and procedures licensed from Rasmussen Reports. My statement to the news media about the poll results included: "It remains to be seen whether the voters' strong opinions for less immigration will be a determining factor in how they cast their ballots. But regardless of who wins the Toss Up districts next Tuesday, the victors will be going to Congress next year representing constituents who overwhelmingly want both legal and illegal immigration reduced."

CHAIN MIGRATION?

By a 2-to-1 margin, likely voters in Toss Up districts want to limit family migration to spouse and minor children. This has been NumbersUSA's top legislative priority since we began in 1996. The President has just this last week again reiterated that ending chain migration of extended family members is one of the immigration changes he most wants. (QUESTION) When individuals in other countries are allowed to immigrate to the United States because of their skill or humanitarian need, who should be able to eventually follow them?

The majority of likely voters in these districts want what most of the mainstream media describe as a fringe position: cuts in legal immigration:

GRAND COMPROMISE IN NEXT CONGRESS?

Toss Up district voters are in the mood to break the decades-long impasse in Congress and accept a compromise to move a lot of issues off the table. By a nearly 3-to-1 margin, Toss Up voters like the idea of a compromise that would be similar to one that narrowly lost in the House last spring. The pro-compromise side is filled with people who want the reductions we want and are willing to accept something like a so-called "Dreamer" amnesty to get it -- and many people who want a "Dreamer" amnesty and are willing to accept the reductions to get it. (QUESTION) Do you support a compromise being considered by Congress that would give lifetime work permits to certain young adults who came to the United States illegally as children, and that also would reduce future immigration by ending extended family migration and by mandating that employers use E-Verify?

58% YES
20% NO

But voters reject a proposed "wall-for-amnesty" compromise. Key Democrats and Republicans have proposed a much simpler compromise that would trade a "Dreamer" amnesty for "wall" funding. Pres. Trump at times has acted interested. Likely voters in Toss Up districts are NOT interested. (QUESTION: Do you support another compromise being considered that would legalize certain young-adult illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children and would greatly increase walls and fencing on the Mexico border, but would keep total immigration at one million a year, while continuing extended family migration and allowing employers to hire without checking legal status with E-Verify?

It is going to be an especially haunting Halloween for the Khazarian mafia banking elite, because they have been given an October 31 deadline to return the gold they stole or face being systematically hunted down and exterminated, say Asian secret society, CIA, and White Dragon Society sources. After that deadline, bounties of gold will be placed on senior bankers starting with the heads of the EU Central Bank, the Bank of Japan, the Federal Reserve Board, and the BIS, the sources say.

The White Dragon Society (WDS) has offered the Khazarian mafia a way out of this situation. All they have to do is monetize, in a constructive and reality-based manner, $40 trillion worth of 1934 Henry Morgenthau Bonds to finance the establishment of a meritocratic future planning agency. This would be enough to end poverty, stop environmental destruction, and finance human expansion into the universe. The alternative is death for all the Khazarian gangsters involved in central bank fraud and Babylonian debt slavery.

In the U.S., meanwhile, Pentagon sources say U.S. President Donald "Trump had a briefing and dinner with top military brass at the White House on October 23 in a blunt message to Israel, the Democrats, the deep state, and its invading army from Mexico not to steal the midterm elections." It seems the satan-worshiping Khazarians have a thing about peeling faces of people while they are still alive. It is apparently intended to harvest the maximum amount of pain from the victim as a sacrifice to Ba'al, Jewish WDS sources say.

However, the CIA source, when confronted with the photographs, insisted his information was correct and said the photos could be faked. He said DNA testing and comparison of dental records were needed.

Also, "with the EU parliament voting 325-1 for an EU arms embargo and [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel leading, Trump may be forced to use the EU arms embargo on Saudi Arabia to push for a UN arms embargo," the sources say.

Khashoggi was [fake] murdered because he was about to expose Saudi Israelia's use of chemical weapons in Yemen, according to the Express newspaper in England.

However, the CIA source mentioned above said that many of the criminals that people want arrested are already dead and all that they will be able to arrest will be "computer graphics or clones."

Maybe, but one criminal who can be arrested is satan-worshiping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu went last week to Oman hoping the Sultan would provide him with protection from imminent arrest, Mossad sources say. This means special forces will have to raid the California tech companies like Google, Facebook, Paypal, and the big pharmacidical companies as well as the central banks if we are to end this.

In an incredible development on the eve of the midterm elections, President Trump said in a TV interview Monday night that he plans to end birthright citizenship. Then Wednesday, he called for Congress to pass a law, to make the this planned policy permanent. Now, how ridiculous we're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and essentially the baby is a citizen of the United States for eighty-five years with all of those benefits? It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous and it has to end."  Axios: "Have you talked about that with counsel?"  Trump: "Yeah. I have."  Axios: "So where in the process?"  Trump:"It's in the process. It'll happen. With an executive order." By yesterday, though, Pres. Trump was pushing for Congressional action: "I'd rather do it through Congress because that's permanent," he told reporters at the White House. The 14th Amendment says everyone born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, becomes a citizen automatically. But "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" meant owing no allegiance to foreign powers. The Senate debate over the amendment at the time made this explicitly clear.  Many of our NumbersUSA allies in Congress champion a law that would end birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. For example, in this Congress, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) introduced H.R. 140 which would clarify that only those children born of citizens or immigrants permanently and legally in the United States would receive citizenship.  Just Tuesday, Sen. In a poll conducted by Google for NumbersUSA this week, 58% of those having an opinion oppose giving automatic citizenship to the children of illegal aliens; 42% support it. This Issue: Trump tells asylum seekers they must enter at port of entry

Pres. Trump indicated that his administration will no longer consider asylum requests for illegal aliens apprehended after crossing the border illegally. He made the announcement during a speech on Thursday on how the administration will handle the Central American caravan making its way through Mexico en route to the U.S. border. Pres. Trump said that since Mexico has extended asylum protections to the caravan, caravan members who turn down Mexico's offer and continue heading towards the United States must enter an asylum claim at a port of entry. "...illegal aliens will no longer get a free pass into our country by lodging meritless claims in seeking asylum. Instead, migrants seeking asylum will have to present themselves lawfully at a port of entry." Pres. Trump also announced an end to catch-and-release that allows most illegal border crossers to move freely throughout the country while they await their court hearings. He said that the Army Corps of Engineers will begin constructing tents along the border to increase detention space for illegal border crossers. The new policies are consistent with the views of likely voters in toss-up districts. Roy released the results of our pre-election poll yesterday that found that only 12% of likely voters in 31 toss-up districts want to allow caravan members to move freely around the country once they arrive and until their asylum hearing occurs. An overwhelming 83% of likely voters in toss-up districts support either: returning members of the caravan to their home countries (40%), holding asylum-seekers in Mexico until their hearing (25%), or detaining asylum-seekers in the United States until their hearing (18%).

Study: 2016 Immigration Tied Previous Record High

A new study by the Center for Immigration Studies says that 1.75 million legal immigrants and illegal aliens arrived in the United States in 2016, matching the previous record set in 1999. New arrivals under the study include legal permanent residents, refugees, temporary guest workers, foreign students, asylum seekers and illegal aliens. Steven Camarota, the Center's director of research and co-author of the report, said new Census Bureau data show a continuing rebound in new arrivals. The uptick started in 2011 after post-Great Recession immigration bottomed out.

At a press conference yesterday President Trump said that migrants must "lawfully present themselves" at a port of entry in order to apply for asylum. They will no longer be allowed to apply for asylum after crossing the border illegally. He plans to issue a "comprehensive" Executive Order on immigration next week.

Silence can speak volumes. As a caravan with thousands of migrants heads toward the U.S. border, Democrats and their media allies are hoping Americans won't notice that the modern left once again has no credible message on illegal immigration.

It didn't used to be that way. "We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently, and lawfully to become immigrants in this country." What right-wing extremist uttered those words in 2005? None other than then-Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

President Obama wasn't alone-Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), former Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada, and other prominent Democrats once echoed those beliefs. Democrats may not have had a real solution to the problem, of course, but they at least understood they must acknowledge that illegal immigration represents a threat to the rule of law.

Not so in 2018. Beholden to an anti-Trump base, Congressional Democrats could only muster an unpopular call to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in its entirety as their strongest immigration proposal.

By contrast, President Trump delivered a clear message and proposed solution to the migrant crisis this afternoon. "America is a welcoming country," he said from the Roosevelt Room of the White House. "We will not allow our generosity to be abused by those who would break our laws, defy our rules, violate our borders, [and] break into our country illegally."

To confront the problem, "my Administration is finalizing a plan to end the rampant abuse of our asylum system," the President announced.

"Wages and salaries rose 3.1 percent in the third quarter, the biggest increase in a decade," CNBC reported yesterday. Pay increases had been the missing link in the economic "recovery" of the Obama years following the 2007-08 Financial Crisis. Now, with unemployment at 3.7 percent-its lowest point since 1969-"wage pressures have begun to build." That's a big win for our great workforce. Bonus: "The wage data came the same day that ADP and Moody's reported private payroll growth of 227,000 in October, easily beating Wall Street expectations."

The impact was expected to be much worse than the markets had seen when previous bubbles burst and insiders were running away in droves. 2. Intel Alert: The new Quantum Financial System (QFS) has been active and ready to convert since Oct. 1. October payroll numbers are incredible, the plan is to get everyone on board that the economy is doing well. The MSM is trying to counter the economy but they know they can't go to far or they will be exposed. This is all part of the plan. If you actually look at the payroll numbers they don't look that different they are stagnant [not true]. Factory order are down [steady]. Consumers will start to see inflation [not true], they have for many years but it has been hidden. A new poll says that manufacturing is leaving China but still not coming back to the US, this is step 1, next is step 2 to give the manufacturing companies incentives to return to the US. The gold around the world is flowing out of western countries and into China and Russia. The US is thinking about sanctioning the SWIFT system if they do not do what the US wants, cut off the payment system to Iran. The SWIFT is the central bank payment system, so the US is looking to sanction the central banks [not likely].

This is a no brainer!! Every time Congress votes themselves a raise, it is a conflict of interest!

President Trump is against the Congress Gravy Train! That is why so many of the Congress are retiring. They hope to freeze their retirement as it stands. This makes too much sense not to be passed on. At least we can make our wishes known and hope. I’m with Trump on this one and always will be. Trump is asking everyone to forward this Email to a minimum of 20 people, and to ask each one of those to do likewise. In 3 days, most people in the United States will have the message. This is why the idea should be passed around, regardless of Political Party. The Trump Rules: Congressional Reform Act Of 2018:

1 – No Tenure/No Pension. A Congressman/Woman, collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. No more perks go with them.

2 – Congressman/Woman ( past, present & future ) participate in social security. All funds in the Congressional Retirement Fund move to the Social Security System immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security System, and Congress participates with the American People. It may not be used for any other purposes.

3 – Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4 – Congress will no longer vote themselves pay increases. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5 – Congress loses their current Healthcare System and participates in the same Healthcare System as the American people.

6 – Congress must equally abide by all the laws, they impose on the American people.

7 – All contracts with past and present Congressman/Woman are void. The American people did not make these contracts with Congressmen/Women. The Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.

The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their terms, then go home and go back to work, and not get all kinds of freebies! No wonder they are fighting everything Trump does! If each person contacts a minimum of 20 people, it will only take 3 days for most people in the United States to receive this message.

Artificial medicine, poisonous vaccinations, deliberately creating disease to depopulate and profit from the “cure”.

These ruthless entities are the ones that brought slavery to America. They gave you the “theory of evolution”, the idea of race and religion. Creating hate and division between humans based on physical appearance.

They created Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and are the authors of the bloodiest books ever written. The Tanakh, the Bible and the Quran. Which are full of exaggerated claims, false promises, hate filled, fear mongering, ‘end of the world’ predicting texts(to put it in peoples minds in hopes that peoples fear and dark thoughts become reality).

One more Cabal creation that people enjoy, and in my opinion, and anyone with a slight awareness has seen this, one of the most irrelevant things in our world today, “sports”. The sole purpose of it being distraction. Ironically receiving the most attention by the masses.

They are responsible for 9/11, which prevented NESARA from being declared. Chemtrails(poisoning the air), and all the weather modifications programs, from hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and more.

One would need to write many books in order to fit the crimes that the Cabal has committed against Humanity and Mother Earth herself, yes she is a living being. They have drained her blood(oil), they have harvested her organs(gold, diamond, and thousands of other minerals) for hundreds of years for power and profit. While at the same time keeping Free Energy devices hidden form the public.

The Cabal has given America all the unconstitutional three letter agencies the country has today. The CIA, NSA, FBI, DIA, DHS, NAA, IRS, TSA, and many more, that cost the people trillions of dollars every year. Let’s not forget Federal Reserve, a privately Cabal owned bank that has nothing to do with the Republic of the United States of America.

After everything that has occurred in our world just in the last five hundred years alone, all the suffering, the wrong that has been done, the deceit, the crimes against the innocent, it all ends NOW, the time has finally arrived.

It is essential to understand that the Cabal has always gone after and killed anyone that stood in their way. They are the same entities that killed Abraham Lincoln. They assassinated John F. Kennedy. Why? Because he became aware of the Cabals evil plans and decided to take action.

Dear Mr. James, No one in my circles discusses French Modernist artists.   That comforts me. Such a conversation would expose me as   an illiterate on French Modernism, just as I am an illiterate   on how to cook.  When I know nothing of subjects, my mouth stays closed.   That's at least one difference in us. You are an economics  illiterate. You prove it often. The dishonest "reporters”   who cover you want to be your buddy. They won't embarrass   you by being honest journalists and treating your words as  economics illiteracy. When you call Trump "a bum," none of them will tell you that  statistics rank him as one of our best presidents for black  Americans. His tax cuts and freeing us from absurd   regulations have resulted in -- after only 18 months -- the   lowest unemployment numbers ever for Hispanic and black  Americans, and one of the lowest numbers for women.  DURING THOSE 18 MONTHS, TRUMP'S POLICIES CREATED  ABOUT FOUR TIMES OF THE MANUFACTURING JOBS  CREATED DURING THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION’S   LAST 18 MONTHS. Remember when Obama mistakenly told   us "Our lost manufacturing jobs are not coming back.”   Maybe manufacturing job growth depends on a president   who knows what he's doing.  As a professional journalist, I cringe at some of Trump’s  buffoonery, like repeating sentences and wearing us out   with "great," “fantastic” and other empty adjectives.   He is often coarse.  He was not my candidate. But there’s   no question his policies have helped many more minority  Americans than Obama.  It's not even close. Today, he’s   working to free many black and Hispanic prisoners who,   in his opinion, have been in prison too long for relatively   minor offenses. Are you aware of that effort?  You need to look up Gross Domestic Product, adjusted for  inflation, and learn what it means to everyday Americans.   Learn what one GDP  point means to employment, and see   how Trump has kept the number climbing.  Your buddy Obama? In addition to being our worst foreign  affairs president and worst military commander-in-chief,   his economic numbers all deserved an "F." He is our ONLY   eight-year president who failed to give us at least one 3%   or higher year of adjusted GDP growth.  EVERY other president achieved at least one year of 4.28%   or higher growth. Aided by Vietnam spending, Johnson had   an 8.48 year. The  best peacetime year -- 7.83 -- belonged to  Reagan. and Obama couldn't even score a 3!!! Look it up.  You say you would speak to Obama but not Trump? How   tragically uninformed you are. Obama had BY FAR the worst   debt accumulation record of all our presidents. His economic  blunders added about $9 trillion to our debt. NO OTHER  PRESIDENT EVEN CAME CLOSE. That indebtedness will fall to you and your children.  Poor families suffered most. Obama's awful job numbers   forced a record number of people to take food stamps.   Black household income under Obama fell steeply as black  unemployment rose. Look that up, too.  But the worst part of what Trump inherited is that Obama,   like Bush and Clinton before him, thought bribes and sweet   talk were the best  ways to deal with North Korea. As the   North Koreans neared being able to wipe out Los Angeles   with a nuclear-tipped missile, Trump became the first   president to stand up boldly to the rogue nation.  Notice North Korea, because of Trump, has stopped   launching missiles over Japan? Notice North Korea has   released political prisoners?  Notice North Korea has begun to return remains of   U.S. Service members? Absent sturdy spines, Clinton,   Bush and Obama could not  approach those major   achievements.  Obama naively bribed the planet’s worst terrorist nation,   Iran, with what was supposed to become a $150 billion   handout. Did Obama not know many of those U.S. Tax   dollars would help fund Hamas and Hezbollah terrorism?   Of course he did. He just didn't care.  Remember the $800 billion of your and everyone else's tax  dollars in his early stimulus for "shovel-ready jobs." Most   of those tax dollars went to political cronies. He handed   $500 million to Solyndra, a solar company run by boosters.   The company soon went bankrupt. Our half-billion in tax   money vanished with it.  Trump is often obnoxious, but people with courage can have   that hangup. Obama always talked big, then feebly stood by   when Putin infringed on Ukraine and annexed Crimea.   But Obama's most cowardly move came when he warned   Assad not to cross "the red line" in Syria. When Obama’s  warning was ignored, which Assad knew would happen,   Obama did nothing.  Does that make him a "bum?"  It makes me sad that you, as someone with a national voice   would be so ignorant of economics, and also presidential 
decisions. I encourage you to do more reading and thinking   as you watch the nation's GDP numbers rise and minority  employment rise.

* Read about "Right To Try," which frees terminally ill people  to sign a lawsuit waiver and take an experimental drug that  might not be  approved for many years. Democrats fought  this sensible plan for years because it would cost them donations.

* Read about a Navy Obama left to Trump that struggled  with about half its carrier aircraft unsafe to fly.

* Read about Trump's giving the VA the right to fire any employee who neglects or abuses a patient.

* Read about Trump's courage in challenging, actually  demanding that, NATO partners to pay their fair share  rather than keep mooching off the U.S. You might also read the wisdom of two of the world’s   brightest people, black intellectuals Dr. Thomas Sowell   and Dr. Walter Williams. They  have written many books.   Sowell and Williams’ integrity, remarkable insights and   clarity of expression cause their common sense to soar  off the page to readers.  Or, you could ignore vital Trump decisions and remain an  illiterate on both presidential achievement and economics.   If you disdain knowledge and keep calling Trump or any   other U.S. president a bum, people will begin to wonder   who's the real bum.

In particular, negotiations are now taking place between Russia and the U.S. to divide Saudi Arabia into a Sunni zone controlled by Iran and a Shia zone controlled by Turkey, according to CIA and FSB sources.

Here is what the Pentagon had to say on this: “Karma’s a bitch, as Saudi Arabia may be dismembered for what it did to Jamal Khashoggi, and Mohammed bone Sawman (MBS) may be forced to end the Yemen war and lift the Qatar blockade, while the U.S. may find new partners in Turkey and Iran after the Global Currency Reset.”

The other thing going on is that the long-awaited arrests of cabalists in the U.S. have already begun, the sources say. The highest-profile of these are senior Goldman Sachs bankers arrested along with former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak for looting money from that country. One of the uses for the stolen money was to finance the Rothschild-glorifying film “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

The sources also say,“ The migrant caravan [in Mexico] may have been neutralized with 15,000 U.S. troops to the border, as ISIS [Daesh], MS13, and other criminal elements were arrested by Special Forces, while Mexico has induced many to seek asylum.” In other words, attempts to use this caravan to disrupt the U.S. midterm elections have been neutralized.

WE COMMISSIONED SURVEY OF PEOPLE WHO VOTED IN YESTERDAY'S ELECTION

'Toss Up' District voters answered they are willing to compromise on immigration, but not with a DACA-for-wall deal.

Here's the scary scenario: Because Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats will control the House next year, and Donald Trump and Republicans will control the rest of the federal government, many people are speculating that the most logical immigration action would be the two sides trading a DACA amnesty for wall funding. Sen. Graham (R-S.C.) who is likely to be the next chairman of the Judiciary Committee has been pushing the idea. We at NumbersUSA think that would be an horrific deal for American workers and communities. Fortunately, our polling of voters in "Toss Up" Districts last night and this morning found they apparently think the way we do on that compromise. (We commissioned the poll of 2,000 voters in 31 "Toss Up" congressional Districts that had been identified by Real Clear Politics last Friday as being the most competitive. These are the Districts -- and voters -- that largely determined who will control the House next year.) In yesterday's election, voters in those Districts decided to replace a couple of Democrats with Republicans, replace a number of Republicans with Democrats, and keep other Republicans in place after hard-fought contests. ( Read my first analysis of the results that I wrote at 4:30 this morning.) But regardless of party, most were agreed on their dislike for the DACA-for-wall deal. Here was the question we posed to those voters about the compromise that is being discussed: QUESTION: Do you support another compromise being considered that would legalize certain young-adult illegal immigrants brought to the United States as children and would greatly increase walls and fencing on the Mexico border, but would keep total immigration at one million a year while continuing extended family migration and allowing employers to hire without checking legal status with E-Verify? 20% Yes to DACA-for-wall deal 58% No Republicans didn't want a wall that badly (20% YES vs. 64% NO). Democrats didn't want a DACA amnesty that badly (25% vs. 47%). Hispanic voters didn't like it (29% to 48%), and Independents liked the compromise even less (13% vs. 66%).

GREAT SUPPORT FOR ANOTHER COMPROMISE

The DACA-for-wall compromise question was offered to voters immediately after offering them another compromise: QUESTION: Do you support a compromise being considered by Congress that would give lifetime work permits to certain young adults who came to the United States illegally as children, and that also would reduce future immigration by ending extended family migration and by mandating that employers use E-Verify? 56% YES to this DACA for immigration reduction & mandatory E-Verify compromise 21% NO The approval of this compromise was almost the exact reverse of the rejection of the other compromise. The approval rate was Democrats (44%-26%), Independents (53%-23%), Hispanics (55%-22%), Republicans (68%-15%).

'TOSS UP' VOTERS WANT TO MANDATE E-VERIFY & END CHAIN MIGRATION

Voters were asked about the importance of greatly increasing walls and fencing on the Mexican border, mandating E-Verify, punishing employers of illegal workers and increasing deportations. Mandating E-Verify received the greatest enthusiasm as a way to control illegal immigration. QUESTION: In trying to control illegal immigration, how important is it to mandate that all employers use the electronic E-Verify system so only legal workers can obtain jobs? 89% said important (56% "very" & 23% "somewhat") 18% said not very important or not important The ratio of support for the importance of mandating E-Verify was 65% vs. 29% for Democrats, 76% vs. 20% for Independents, and 71% vs.24% for Hispanics, and an incredible 93% vs. 6% for Republicans eager to stop law-breaking businesses from enticing illegal immigration. Support for ending chain migration wasn't as overwhelming as for mandating E-Verify but still favored by nearly a 2-to-1 margin. QUESTION: When individuals in other countries are allowed to immigrate to the United States because of their skill or humanitarian need, who should be able to eventually follow them? 65% Spouse and minor children only 27% Extended family in addition to spouse and minor children As the survivors and the conquering challengers begin to converge on Washington the next couple of months, it will be easy for them to listen to false analysis of what the elections meant for the immigration issue, or to get involved in political gamemanship. But the survey of citizens last night after they had voted needs to be thrust at every Member of Congress to remind them that the people who decided the fate of the House have some definite ideas about how to reform our immigration system.

Nearly All NumbersUSA House Champions Win on Election Night

NumbersUSA lost a great champion for American workers Tuesday night when Rep. Dave Brat was narrowly defeated by Democratic challenger Abigail Spanberger. (We'll have more on her in a later post.) But with most of the House races settled, we can proudly announce that nearly all of the NumbersUSA A+ rated Members who ran for re-election will return to Congress in 2019. As Roy noted yesterday, Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas was the only other A+ Member, in addition to Rep. Brat, to lose a re-election bid. Thirty-two of the 34 U.S. Representatives with an A+ grade in the current Congress who were on the ballot won on Tuesday night. In addition, three newcomers who earned NumbersUSA's True Reformer rating after completing our Immigration-Reduction Candidate Survey were elected, and a fourth is leading a race that's yet to be called.
